Una vez más, Alessandro Michele no deja de sorprendernos. Y esta pasarela de Gucci FW19 no fue la excepción. El enfoque principal de este show y el más llamativo fueron las máscaras, dando un enfoque a lo teatral, ya que si nos ponemos a pensar, en el teatro los actores cubren su rostro para mostrar la personalidad real de su personaje y no la de ellos mismos.
El significado de la máscara no es falsedad o hipocresía en este caso, si no da un giro para darte la oportunidad de ser quien en realidad eres, tu verdadero tú, revelando la parte del ser que se quiere comunicar, Alessandro Michele quiere y nos da un catálogo de diferentes opciones para escoger quién queremos ser.
Dentro de los diferentes elementos que encontramos en el show están los elementos fetiche mezclados con un estilo punk. Hombres y mujeres usan corbatas, un gran contraste y casi no vemos logos, solo en algunas piezas de joyería o accesorios pero algo muy pequeño, esta vez le da más enfoque a la ropa.
Las prendas parecen no estar terminadas, podemos ver las costuras como si no las hubieran terminado, entre otros elementos, algunos modelos llevan los zapatos en la mano o en bolsas de plástico.
Las personalidades se mezclan en este show, poniendo todo en escena, con looks más simples y románticos pero al mismo tiempo algo más provocativo y lleno de fantasía.
Nos topamos con muchos “detallitos” en esta colección, gran enfoque a la década de los 40 con cinturas marcadas y accesorios que no son usados como un “adorno para complementar” pero más como una pieza de arte.
Esta fue una colección más minimalista, monocromática y un poco más esencial pero todo al estilo Gucci.

Alessandro Michele gets us every time, always having shows full of surprises and this Gucci FW19 catwalk was no exception.
The main focus on this show and the most exciting one were all the masks we saw, giving them a special meaning and focusing on the theater, because when actors are in scene, they cover their real personality allowing to show their character’s and not theirs.
The mask doesn’t mean falsehood, instead it gives a twist so you have the opportunity to be who you really are, the real you, revealing that part that you want to communicate, Alessandro Michele wants and gives us a catalog of choices of who we want to be.
Among the different elements found in the show there are fetiche elements combined with punk style. Men and women are wearing ties that is a big contrast and almost no logo is shown, only in some pieces of jewelry or accessories, but something very small, this time Alessandro Michele gives more focus on the clothes.
The garments doesn’t seem to be finished, you can see the stitches as if they were half way done, among other elements we saw models with shoes in their hands or in plastic bags.
Personalities are mixed in this show, by making all protagonists, we could see simple and romantic looks, but also something more provocative and full of fantasy.
With this collection, we came across many details, with a special focus on the forties, belted waist, and accessories that were more used as art instead of as ornament.
This collection was more about minimalism, monochromatic style and a little bit more essential but very Gucci style.
